A successful county jobs expert has marked a decade of working through the ranks at a Worcestershire recruitment firm.

Trudy Harding, 45, has reached 10 years at recruitment business Workforce Staffing after joining in a part-time account management role – and is now a director of the 100-employee company.

Bromsgrove-born Trudy, a mum of four, said: “It’s rare these days to reach a decade at one employer but the truth is I love working at Workforce. There are always daily challenges to overcome

and I have enjoyed helping to coach and mentor many of the team over the years, and also working with some amazing clients.

“I’ve been here through some big changes. I’ve had a baby, ran our commercial division, managed our Redditch branch and overseen the HR and compliance for the whole business. It’s been such a

varied time and now to be the firm’s quality and compliance director is a lovely way to mark 10 years.”

Paul Alekna, chief executive of Working Staffing added: “Trudy has been an exceptional performer from the first minute she started working for us. She is someone the younger members of the team

look up to and it’s great to see how she has evolved as the business has grown.

“Trudy is one the recruitment industry’s unsung heroes. She is a complete class act and we look forward to her contributing over the next 10 years.”

Founded in 2003 by Mr Alekna and his brother Joe, Workforce Staffing has grown to employ over 100 people at its seven branches which are in Worcester, Kidderminster, Redditch, Dudley, Rugby,

Coventry and Birmingham.

Five years ago the company was placed at number 44 in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 and was voted one of the UK’s top employers.
