A MENTALLY ill man will be sentenced after spitting at a police officer.
Adam Moffatt appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on November 28 after assaulting an officer on October 28 during what was believed to be a mental health crisis that saw him "thrashing around on the floor" at his address on Albert Road, Evesham, Lesley Ashton, prosecuting told the court.
The case was adjourned until December 12, as Moffatt is due back in court on that date for a separate matter. The offences will be dealt with together.
