WIRRAL is in the top 10 happiest places to live in the north west according to a new poll from Rightmove.
The propery giant's Happy At Home index revealed five of the happiest places in the whole country are in the north.
The Northumberland market town of Hexham topped the poll overall.
They join residents in other parts of the north of England – including Harrogate, Skipton, Altrincham and Southport – which also appeared in the top 10 list compiled by the property website.
Wirral ranked 52nd in the national table out of 194.
But how does it compare to other towns in the north west? We've compiled this list
More than 22,000 people responded to Rightmove's happy at home index survey.
They were asked questions such as the extent to which they feel a sense of community spirit, feel safe, earn enough to live comfortably and whether locals are friendly and polite.
But what do you think about the results? Let us know in the comments.
