A MAN has been hit by a car in Glasgow's South Side.
The incident happened after 5 pm on Holmlea Crescent near Cathcart Station.
The man, whose age is unknown, has been taken to hospital.
Police did not reveal how serious his condition is.
Residents took to social media following the incident.
One said: "There has been another accident at Holmlea Road/Clarkston Road on the bride.
"Looks really serious, someone knocked down again and three cars involved in the crash."
One local added: "I was in my office and I heard a very loud bang. When I drove out I could see a car smashed in the bridge and a gentleman lying on the ground.
"As soon as I could I phoned 999, hope everyone is OK."
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "We were called to Holmlea Crescent at 5.05 pm after a pedestrian was struck by a car.
"One male was taken to the hospital."
