A PET rehoming centre in Bromsgrove is issuing a Valentine's appeal to find cute cats and delightful dogs a home full of love.

Blue Cross, in Wildmoor Lane, Catshill, is calling out to find the perfect match for pets in their care who are desperate for loving owners and a home to call their own.

Among the pets in need of rehoming is Joey, an 11-month old Pomeranian crossbreed dog who has been at the centre for more than 200 days.

He needs a special home where his needs as a sensitive boy will be understood and his new owners can gradually build up his confidence.

He loves training and learning new things and would to continue this to bond with his new family.

Dinky is a 13-year-old black long hair cat who has been looking for a home for more than 120 days.

He is looking for a quieter home where he will be pampered and have lots of fuss and cuddles.

He would like to be the only pet so that he can have all the attention and affection to himself.
