PUPILS at Hightown Junior, Infant & Nursery School had a lesson in road safety from FedEx Express staff.
The interactive session specifically focused on how to behave around large vehicles. Pupils had the opportunity to sit inside a FedEx truck, to gain a better understanding of how they operate.
The visit was part of the FedEx Cares initiative, the company’s way of giving back to the communities that their team members live and work in.
Recent data from the Department of Transport shows that five people die every day on UK roads.
