WOODLAND Road in Dodford is the most expensive street in Bromsgrove, house sales figures over the past five years have revealed.

The average house sale in the leafy countryside road since 2015 has been a whopping £736,875.

Quick buying company Property Solvers tracked average sold price data from HM Land Registry to see where the highest and lowest-priced homes are located across the B60 + B61 postcodes.

Gathering five year’s worth of sold house price data, Woodland Road in Dodford came out on top with St Catherines Road in Blackwell second on £635,857.

Valley Road in Bournheath came in third with an average sale price of £631,500 - and you can see the full top 10 in the table below.

At the opposite end of the scale, some of the cheapest residential streets include Austin Road in Charford, The Strand in Bromsgrove and Nailers Court on Ednall Lane.

The average house price sale in Austin Road was £74,333, rising to £77,550 in The Strand and then £90,119 in Nailers Court, where 28 homes were sold during the five-year period.

Commenting on the data, Property Solvers co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.

“It’s therefore worth noting a detached property on Birmingham Road in Lydiate Ash sold for £945,000 in March 2018.

"Another detached property on Burcot Lane in Burcot sold for £885,000 in September 2016. There were also a number of other sales over the £600,000 mark.

“At the other end of the market, there was a property that sold for £85,500 in Grafton House on Burcot Lane and another property that sold for £81,000 on Austin Road in Charford (in addition to the 17 that sold on The Strand in Bromsgrove for an average of £77,550)."
