A DRIVER was arrested after ramming into a police car with a van following a chase from Hopwood Services.
The incident happened on the weekend, where a motorist left the service station without paying for fuel.
Following a police pursuit, the driver "reverse rammed" one of their cars.
Police forced the van to stop and he was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, dangerous driving and theft.
He was then charged with criminal damage of a police vehicle, theft of fuel, failing to provide a breath specimen and for failing to stop for police.
