A WRITER from Bromsgrove has shot to the top of the UK bestsellers list with a psychological thriller novel which was released during lockdown.

Former BBC TV producer Sue Watson has already reached number three in the UK and has entered the top 100 list in the US with her newest book, The Sister in Law.

It is Sue’s 16th book and has already sold 50,000 copies in its first three weeks.

It follows the Bromsgrove author’s earlier success with previous thrillers, including ‘Our Little Lies’ which hit number five in the US and number one in Canada’s listings.

Sue, from The Oakalls, said: “I want to give people the chance to escape to a villa in Amalfi as we can’t go on holiday this year, and I hope they can enjoy the setting and the sunshine as well as the twisted and dark side of this story.

“I can’t believe The Sister in Law has reached number three, and just want to thank everyone who’s bought and reviewed it so far.”

The Sister in Law is described as a gripping, twisty psychological thriller, perfect for fans of Before I Go To Sleep, The Girl on the Train and Date Night.

The book is available to buy as a paperback, audio or ebook on Amazon, Kobo and iTunes.
