A VILLAGE church has re-opened for private prayer and contemplation.
St Peter's Church in Castle Carrock is now open on a Thursday afternoon for parishioners to go inside for private prayer.
The vicar or a church warden will also be there during the opening hours of 3-6pm to ensure social distancing is adhered to.
Only one person will be allowed in at a time and the usual social distancing rules must be followed.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the door.
