VISITORS to three of Bromsgrove’s parks can take advantage of free fitness sessions throughout August.
The instructor-led weekly sessions will be available for free at Sanders Park, Alvechurch Meadows and Clent Park and will help users to improve their strength, balance, mobility and overall fitness levels.
There is no need to book - anyone interested in taking part can just turn up, register and join in at any point during the session for as long as they would like.
Sanders Park sessions will run on Tuesdays between 10am and 1pm, Alvechurch Meadows on Saturdays between 10am and 12pm and Clent Park sessions on Sundays between 10am and 12pm.
Visit https://www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/things-to-do/parks-and-outdoors/fit-for-free.aspx for more information.
The instructor will help and assist residents on the best way to use the free equipment in the park as well as offering guidance on how to get the best out of a workout.
Hayley Gwilliam, Physical Activity Development Officer at Bromsgrove District Council, said: “Whether you already know what you’re doing and just want a change in routine or you have no idea where to start and would like some guidance, everyone is welcome to join in the sessions.
"Make the most of the summer and get your fitness back on track post lockdown.”
