POLICE have urged residents to be vigilant following a string of burglaries in Milking Bank.
Officers in the Dudley Central team have received of reports of burglaries in the area over the last seven days.
PCSO David Smith advised residents to take appropriate safety measures to secure their homes, via West Midlands Police's Neighbourhood Alert system.
He said: "We have received reports of burglaries in the Milking Bank area in the last seven days.
"As a crime prevention method – we would advise residents to ensure that their windows and doors are securely locked overnight and for residents to consider fitting anti-snap locks on all exterior doors.
"We would like to remind you to please close your external doors during the day time to prevent unwelcome visitors gaining entry to your home."
