EMERGENCY services were called after a three-car crash this afternoon.

There was a three-car crash this afternoon (September 23) on the A38 between Severn Stoke and Clifton, near Worcester.

An eyewitness said a car hit the boundary wall outside a house, which stopped short of hitting the property, following the crash.

The smashed car has been left in the garden and will be difficult to move as it's an electric car.

The eyewitness said: “The road was closed for about an hour.

“Three vehicles in total involved.

“Nobody was injured, but significant damage to the vehicles and boundary wall.

“The car in the garden is an electric vehicle and difficulty in moving it.”

The crash happened while the motorway was closed following a tanker crash on the M5, and caused the A38 to also be closed for around one hour in both directions.
