COVID-19 cases have risen across Worcestershire, according to the latest data.

The latest Public Health England (PHE) figures show Redditch had, during the week up to September 24, an infection rate of 38.7 cases per 100,000 people, up from 14.1 the week before.

Bromsgrove's infection rate has reached 33, up from 19. Wyre Forest has seen the biggest jump up to 49.4 from 23.7 in the week before.

The PHE figures are based on tests that have been carried out both in laboratories and in the wider community, and provide the data for each local authority area.

Wychavon is up to 27 from the 7.7 the week before, while Malvern is at 24.1 up from 11.4.

It should be noted that areas have typically entered local lockdown when cases were around 70 and higher.
