A CAT stuck up a tree was rescued by firefighters in Bromsgrove.

The moggy had got itself into a tricky situation and was stuck 10 metres up a tree in Corbett Close.

A crew from Bromsgrove rescued the cat at 10.25pm last night (Saturday November 14).

Hereford and Worcester Fire Control tweeted about the incident.

It was a busy day for feline rescues yesterday with firefighters unable to paws for breath as over in Droitwich a fire crew rescued a kitten which was trapped behind a toilet.

A crew from Droitwich rescued the four-week old moggy at a house in Bruton Avenue at around 8.56pm yesterday (Saturday).

Thanks to the efforts of kind-hearted firefighters both rescues came to happy conclusions.

Lets hope today is a trouble free day for moggies.
