BROMSGROVE MP Sajid Javid's annual jobs fair will be held online for the first time this year.

The fair, which will take place on Friday, November 27 from 10am-12noon, brings together those looking for employment in the Bromsgrove District, with both local and national businesses offering employment and apprenticeship opportunities.

Last year’s record-breaking Fair saw more than 1,000 people attend the event, with more than 70 businesses offering thousands of career opportunities.

Given the current public health restrictions, the fair will now be held online.

Jobseekers will have the chance to attend online workshop events, or drop in to a virtual call with employers.

Mr Javid and his team are currently looking for exhibitors and sponsors for the event.

If you’re interested in becoming an exhibitor, sponsor or would like more information, email sajid.javid.mp@parliament.uk.

Mr Javid said: “This is a challenging period, particularly for those looking for work and training opportunities. I am determined to help in any way that I can.

“Although I am unable to host the event in person this year, I am pleased to be hosting an online event in which businesses and job seekers can meet.

“Whether you’re looking for a job that’s full-time, part time, a change of career or an apprenticeship, I would be delighted to see you at the Fair. There really is something for everyone.”
