THE POLICE arrested a driver last night on the M5.
The offender was pulled over after driving through a closed section of the motorway.
Officers then performed a drugs test on the driver after smelling cannabis coming from the vehicle.
The driver was then arrested for failing the drugs test and also found to have no insurance.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "This driver was stopped after they decided to drive through a motorway roadworks closure at J5 M5. They were stopped by police who found a strong smell of cannabis. The driver failed a drug wipe and had no insurance. They were arrested at the scene."
