MORE striking images showing the beauty of Stourbridge by night have been sent in to us.

News Group Camera Club member Sally Shillingford has sent us these eye-catching snaps of Stourbridge High Street lit up for Christmas.

Sally, from Kinver, says she first started taking an interest in photography around three years ago, having started out snapping images on her phone. Before long she upgraded to a camera and began honing her skills.

She joined our News Group Camera Club and sister group the Advertiser and Shuttle Camera Club and has seen her images featured in a number of our newspapers as well as on ITV and BBC local weather bulletins.

She has also won a number of competitions and recently received a highly commended award from the Mayor of Dudley for her entry in the Black Country art competition which invited snappers to submit images capturing the spirit of the Black Country.

She had been set to stage her first photography exhibition at the Gunmakers Arms in Birmingham in November but due to the coronavirus crisis it was cancelled and has been rescheduled to run from January 31 to March 6.
