CAREGIVERS in Bromsgrove and Redditch were recently treated to a zoom call from magician and star of Britain’s Got Talent, Alan Hudson.

The conjuror entertained the Home Instead Senior Care Redditch and Bromsgrove team with virtual magic tricks and illusions.

Home Instead owner Annie Dixon-Dunn organised the zoom call as a reward to her caregivers for their unwavering hard work and dedication throughout the pandemic.

She hoped it would bring some well-needed, light comic relief for her devoted caring team.

Altogether, 28 people including caregivers and their families joined the call, enjoying Alan’s entertainment, as he kept them all on their toes and laughing throughout.

His many magic tricks wowed the audience, but it was when Alan successfully guessed the Wikipedia page that someone had chosen out of millions of pages that left the group in awe.

Annie said: “Thank you to Alan for providing some much-needed, virtual amusement to my team, you were thoroughly entertaining.

"I wanted to thank all of my caregivers for working so hard to keep our senior clients safe at home throughout the pandemic - their continued devotion to caring for our community makes me so proud.”

Home Instead provides at-home care for elderly people throughout Redditch, Bromsgrove, and the neighbouring areas.

Services range from companionship and home help to more specialist dementia and respite care.
