A lengthy road closure is planned in Bromsgrove to install a toucan crossing.

Worcestershire County Council expect the closure of Fordhouse Road to last 75 days, starting from March 1.

The plan is to shut the road from its junction with the A448 Stratford Road to the junction with Hopgardens Avenue.

The diversion route involves going on the Eastern by pass.

Another road closure planned from March 1 is at Monument Lane in Lickey and Blackwell. It’s for drainage works, and is expected to last five days.

Plans for a new house in Lyttleton Road, Droitwich, have also been publicized.
