VACCINATION figures show almost all of the people aged 75 and over in the county have received their first jab.

As many as 62,654 first doses have been given to those aged under 70 in Worcestershire and Herefordshire with 38,141 jabs given to those aged between 70 and 74.

A total of 35,360 people aged between 75 and 79 have been given their first jab in both counties and 47,413 doses have been handed to those aged over 80.

A total of 185,264 first and second doses have been given out according to NHS figures.

Almost all of the people aged over 75 in Worcestershire and Herefordshire have received their first jab according to NHS data and Office for National Statistics (ONS) population estimates.

More than three quarters of people aged 70 and 74 have received their first jab and around 12 per cent of people aged under 70 have received their first vaccine.

The figures say a total of 185,264 first and second does have been handed out between December 8 and February 7.

A total of 756 people aged under 70 have received two jabs with 22 people aged between 70 and 74 and 33 people aged between 75 and 79 receiving both jabs.

As many as 885 people aged 80 and over have now received both coronavirus jabs.
