TWO people were injured in a car crash in Bromsgrove last night (April 12.)

Emergency crews were called just before 10pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the junction of Willow Road and Kidderminster Road, Bromsgrove.

West Mercia Police attended the scene, along with two fire crews from Bromsgrove and two ambulances from West Midlands Ambulance Service.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews from Bromsgrove Fire Station were called at 21:51 on April 12 to a road traffic collision involving two cars in Willow Road Bromsgrove.

"One teenage female casualty was medically trapped and self-extricated with the help of paramedics; another female casualty in her 60s was also handed over to the care of paramedics. Both vehicles were made safe by fire crews. The Kidderminster Road was closed in both directions for a time.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “The driver of one car, a woman, was out of her vehicle when crews arrived and was given treatment on scene for non-serious injuries before being conveyed to Alexandra Hospital.

“A teenage girl, a passenger from the second car, was given treatment on scene for injuries sustained in the collision and was conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.”

West Mercia Police have been contacted for comment.
