LOUNGE Underwear, one of Britain's fastest growing fashion brands was founded by a couple from Bromsgrove - and has revealed its new swanky HQ.

The lingerie online retailer was created by Daniel and Melanie Marsden in their living room when they were 23 years old, now they have unveiled their new £3 million HQ in Solihull.

Based on Blythe Valley Park, which is also home to Gymshark - another of Bromsgrove's success stories, the site can house over 500 employees and comes complete with a film club, gym and wellness rooms.

The brand worked closely with the firm, Office Principles, on the design and fit-out over the course of 6 months in a two phase build.

Phase one is now officially complete.

Daniel said: "Over the past six months during this build, we have had one vision in mind: to build the best, free flowing, collaborative and inspirational working space for all Loungers.

"This was a seriously ambitious project to take on in a very uncertain time, but we’ve invested now to secure Lounge’s future, our growth and everyone that works here.

"It’s honestly mind blowing to think that pre-lockdown, we were sitting on circa 30 Loungers, we now have a headcount of over 100 and still growing every day.

"This is where we will build the future of Lounge and really find out just how far we can push this company.

"The decisions, ideas and work that will be drummed up within these glass walls will contribute to one of the world’s greatest corporate risings."

Employees are currently working from home due to the pandemic but the company is hoping to be back in their new home once restrictions ease.

Lounge Underwear also featured on The Times Young Rich List this year, making its debut in eighth position, coming in with a net value of £200 million.

Daniel and Melanie told The Times their relationship is 'absolutely key to the success of Lounge'.
