THERE won't be any outdoor screenings of the Euro final in Bromsgrove district parks this Sunday.

Bromsgrove District Council has confirmed that it did look to provide screenings for the England vs Italy clash in parks, but they "could not monitor or enforce safety guidelines" in these areas.

A council spokesperson said: “Following England’s success on Wednesday we have been looking into providing outdoor screens in our parks for people to watch the final on Sunday.

“However, unlike pubs and hospitality venues, which provide an element of social distancing by keeping people seated at tables which are spaced out, we could not monitor or enforce safety guidelines in our public spaces.

“Of course we wish England success on Sunday and hope everyone enjoys the game, safely.”
