A HOUSING development in Stoke Prior only has two properties left before the site is sold out.

Located on Westonhall Road, construction at Henbrook Gardens began in July 2018, with an initial designation of 202 homes.

Due to the demand, this was later increased to a final total of 214.

Tanya Silk, sales director at Barratt Homes West Midlands, said: “We are so pleased that Henbrook Gardens has now sold almost all of its available homes and that a community is now being established at the development.

“With Henbrook Gardens proving popular amongst buyers in Worcestershire, we don’t expect the final homes remaining to stay available for very long. Buyers considering a home at the development should contact the Sales Advisers to arrange an appointment.”

The final homes remaining at the development by Barratt Homes – both four-bedroom homes – are not expected to stay on the market for long as demand for larger properties has hit record highs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to research from Rightmove, the number of sales agreed for properties with three and four bedrooms increased by 55% in the space of 12 months, while detached four-bedroom homes saw sales more than double year-on-year.

As well as new homes, Barratt is also making contributions to the local area totalling £431,079 and will be used to expand and improve the community, with funding for education, public transport, play areas and more.
