A FIRE has broke out in a block of flats in Rubery.
Six fire crews tackled the blaze at a low rise block of flays on Parkway.
Firefighters evacuated the block and no one was injured, however Parkway between Rubery Lane and Reaside Drive remians closed.
West Midlands Fire Service tweeted: "6 fire crews are in attendance at a low-rise block on Parkway, Rubery.
"The incident involves a fire in the roof space. Crews have evacuated the block and there are not believed to be any casualties at this time.
"@WMPolice and @OFFICIALWMAS are on scene supporting our crews."

"There are no casualties and a total of 15 breathing apparatus have been in use to tackle the blaze.
"@WMPolice are maintaining a road closure on Parkway between Rubery Lane and Reaside Drive.
