PARENTS have rated a Worcestershire nursery as one of the top 20 in the West Midlands.

Kirsty's Little Treasures beat off competition from 1,274 other nurseries to claim a spot amongst the prestigious few.

All the top twenty nurseries have now received an award from leading day nurseries reviews site, daynurseries.co.uk, with the award based on the nursery’s reviews from the children’s families and carers.

The nurseries were rated on a number of criteria, including their overall standards, facilities and outside space, learning, and value for money.

Kirsty Toolan, of Kirsty’s Little Treasures, in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, said: "We are so happy to receive this award. It really means so much to us.

"We have an amazing, dedicated team, the most supportive parents and carers ever, and the loveliest, happiest children in the world.

"It is wonderful that the collective efforts of the whole Kirsty’s Little Treasures family have been recognised."

The awards are based on over 57,000 reviews received between 29 May 2019 and 28 May 2021 from parents, relatives and guardians of children who attend the nurseries.

Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of daynurseries.co.uk, said: "We would like to congratulate Kirsty’s Little Treasures on being rated by parents as a top nursery in the West Midlands.

"Being chosen as one of the best nurseries in the UK by family and carers of children that attend the setting is a massive achievement.

"The past year has been a huge challenge for nurseries, many of whom were offering childcare to vulnerable and keyworker children during the various lockdowns and giving children that all important 'normality'.

"We hope these awards will boost the spirits of nursery staff who have been through such a lot and give parents vital guidance in choosing the right nursery for their child.

"Reviews of our Top 20 nurseries show these settings stimulate and nurture children, improving their social and emotional wellbeing and enhancing their learning."
