A BROMSGROVE business is celebrating its 60th anniversary by naming two of its trucks after two leaders of the family firm.
Bumble Hole Foods, in Rocky Lane, which supplies egg products to the UK food manufacturing industry, is led by Andrew Hewston and his sister Sharon Jones.
It was founded in 1961 by their grandfather William who had a small holding and sold eggs from the bottom of his garden.
Mr Hewston, managing director, said: “Over the last three years we have invested more than £5million into the business including driver and staff training.
“We are also currently developing a state-of-the-art warehouse for chilled, frozen and ambient products, which we expect to be operational within the next 12-18 months.”
He added: “To celebrate our 60th anniversary the two trucks have been named after our parents, our dad David who passed away last year, and mum Maureen, who is still involved in the business today.”
