A MAN was punched in the face and threatened with a knife in a vicious street robbery in Hollywood in Worcestershire.

The incident happened at 5.45pm on Wednesday October 13 in Beaudesert Road.

A man was approached by two men dressed in dark clothing who had their faces covered.

It was reported that one of the suspects threatened the victim with a knife while the other demanded he hand over his watch.

While they demanded other personal items they also punched the victim in the face.

The suspects left with the victim’s Breitling stainless steel battery watch which has a black face and a diver’s extension on the strap.

They drove away in a silver Fiat Abarth which had a black bonnet and black roof.

Police enquiries have been ongoing and officers have issued an appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

DC David Gardner, from West Mercia Police, said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone who was around the Beaudesert Road area at the time of the incident as they may have information that can help with our enquiries.

"I’d particularly like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and has a dash-cam fitted to their vehicle. I’d also urge the public to be aware and to contact us if someone offers to sell them a watch matching this description.”
