Headed goals from Joel Kettle and Nathan Hayward led Bromsgrove Sporting to FA Trophy victory over Ilkeston Town writes Max Banner.
Sporting winger Miro Pais had a shot tipped over smartly in the 14th minute, with Ilkeston's Ollie Brown-Hill driving the ball at Akos Onodi two minutes later.
The deadlock was broken 37 minutes in, as a cracking Cameron Ebbutt free kick into the box was powered home via the head of Kettle.
It was 2-0 five minutes into the half, as a enticing ball from Pais into the area was headed in towards the back post by Hayward.
Kettle was sent off in the 74th minute for a last man challenge on substitute Jak Goodson, who had a shot seven minutes later from a one on one position that was brilliantly saved by Onodi.
Demetri Brown had a chance late on to get his name on the scoresheet but sent his shot narrowly wide.
