BROMSGROVE police have urged residents to be vigilant after a spate of car crime in the Harwood Park, New Road and Aston Fields areas.

Officers from the Bromsgrove Safer Neighbourhood Team have been delivering letters urging motorists to be on their guard and try to take precautions after recent incidents in which vehicles parked at the roadside have been vandalised.

They said they have increased patrols in the areas of Harwood Park and roads off New Road and Aston Fields and have issued an appeal for CCTV, doorbell and dashcam footage to help find those responsible for the damage.

Anyone with any information is urged to email bsr.snt@westmercia.pnn.police.uk or call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
