A SIXTH form in Rednal have partnered with basketball team, Bromsgrove Bears.

From September 2022, students looking to study A Level or BTEC Level 3 qualifications at Colmers Sixth Form will have the opportunity to study whilst exploring, their love of basketball.

Students who join the academy will have full access to all courses on offer at the sixth form and will train weekly with the Bromsgrove Bears, competing at National League level.

Professional coaching and weekly games will be part of the academy timetable, with Wednesday afternoons devoted to basketball.

Academy students will be able to choose from a range of coaching courses to develop their sporting expertise and will can gain a Sports Leadership Qualification.

Students in the academy can choose from a traditional academic route studying 3 A Level courses or can opt to take a Level 3 BTEC Sport course.
