POLICE have issued an appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a two-car crash near Chateau Impney at Droitwich.

The incident, involving a red Mazda 2 and a blue Vauxhall Corsa, happened at just before 8am on Thursday November 18 on the A38 northbound near the Chateau Impney exhibition centre, Droitwich.

Paramedics and fire crews from Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service also attended the crash which left the road closed for some time.

Firefighters had to use hydraulic rescue equipment to remove one person trapped in their car; and a man, woman and child were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but their injuries were not believed to be serious.

West Mercia Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the crash or have dash-cam footage that could help the police investigation.
