SNOW has fallen in parts of Worcestershire today.

Storm Arwen is bringing with it high winds, rain and snow for many, with the white stuff being seen in high up places like in Bromsgrove.

For the rest of the county the weather forecast is for mostly settled weather in spite of the strong winds, which could cause travel disruption throughout the weekend.

According to the Met Office, the forecast for most of Saturday is for fairly clear weather but with high winds throughout.

After rain, sleet and snow this morning, the skies are expected to clear, though it will remain cold throughout.

Strong northerly winds will make it feel very cold with a maximum temperature of 5 °C.

Tonight will be generally dry with lengthy clear periods, especially further west.

Winds will gradually ease down and under clear skies, a widespread frost is expected.

The minimum temperature is expected to be around -3 °C.

Sunday will see a frosty start but lots of sunshine for most places throughout.

The winds brought by Storm Arwen will ease, with a maximum temperature of 6 °C.
