A 45-YEAR-OLD Belbroughton man has been fined and banned from the roads for 18 months after admitting drink driving.

James Bradley, aged 45, of Nash Court, pleaded guilty to driving with an alcohol level above the legal limit on Brettell Lane, Amblecote, on December 4.

He was fined £250, ordered to pay Crown Prosecution Service costs of £135 and a £34 surcharge to fund victim services when sentenced at Dudley Magistrates' Court on Monday January 10.

He was also disqualified from driving licence for 18 months, although the ban can be reduced by 18 weeks if he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
