VARIOUS Covid vaccinations clinics across Worcestershire including the Artrix in Bromsgrove will be offering a ‘quiet hour’ and a ‘women’s hour’.

South Worcestershire Healthcare, which run the clinics, have rolled out the sessions to target those who are hesitant about receiving a vaccination.

The women’s hour “will be a safe and secure environment for women, by having a dedicated time with only other women present - including staff and vaccinators.”

The quiet hour will accommodate those “with autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, sensory conditions or those with needle phobias.”

A spokesperson for South Worcestershire Healthcare said: “This will be a safe environment with less noise and well-trained staff who can cater to any patient and their specific needs.”

The women only session will be held from 12 pm to 1pm every Tuesday and the quiet session will follow from 2pm to 3pm.

Patients don’t need an appointment to attend the clinics.
