A 35-year-old motorcyclist has died following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the A38 Roman Way in Droitwich.
The crash occurred on Sunday, February 6, and led to the road being closed whilst police attended the scene.
West Mercia Police today confirmed there was a crash between one car and a motorbike.
The motorcyclist received advanced trauma care from ambulance crews but was pronounced dead at hospital.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews arrived at the scene to find a man, the motorcyclist, in a critical condition with bystander CPR already in progress.
“Staff worked quickly to administer advanced trauma care to the patient both at the scene and en-route to hospital.
"The critical care team travelled on board the ambulance to continue with treatment on blue lights and sirens to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
"However sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, nothing could be done to save the man and he was later pronounced dead at hospital.
“The driver of the car, a man, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and was conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.”
The road was reopened following the incident earlier this morning.
The busy Droitwich road was closed yesterday at around 7.33 pm and was listed as a police-led incident.

Road closures were in place on both carriageways near to the Berry Hill industrial estate, from the Droitwich Land Rover Island and from the direction of the Chateau Impney.
