A POPULAR 1920's themed bar in Bromsgrove has received the top food hygiene rating after its first inspection.
The Dry Spy on St John's Street was inspected by the Food Standards Agency on April 28.
Food safety officers awarded the bar a five out of five-star rating.
Executive chef, Carl Weaver said the team are delighted with their rating.
He said: “These inspections are carried out completely un-announced so it goes to show that our ongoing high standards of food safety and hygiene are rewarded.
“I am really proud of the team who continually work hard to make The Dry Spy the premium venue in Bromsgrove, both in terms of guest service and guest health and safety.”
General manager, Micky Pearson said: “Everyone here is involved in this success, front of house, back of house, chefs, the facilities team - everyone plays a part in the safe and efficient running of our bar.
