
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after a crash near the M5 in Wychbold.
The collision, which involved a car and lorry happened on the A38 underneath the M5 just before 8 am on Tuesday, May 10.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7.56 am to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a lorry on Worcester Road, Wychbold in Droitwich.
“One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended.
“Upon arrival, we found the driver of the car.
“She was assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
“She was conveyed to Alexandra Hospital for further assessment.
“The driver of the lorry did not require treatment.”
Significant delays were reported on the A38 between Bromsgrove and Droitwich at the time of the incident.
West Mercia Police advised motorists to find alternative routes and avoid the area.
