A WANTED man who was arrested in Bromsgrove for fraud by false representation remains in custody.
A 38-year-old man was arrested in Catshill on Sunday, June 19 in connection with a fraud by false representation offence dating back to 2019.
Police attended a property on Milton Road at around 9:20 am following intelligence that a person wanted on warrant was present there.
The Dock, Byron Way and Powick Close were cordoned off while negotiations took place.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “A 38-year-old man left the property peacefully and was arrested on warrant for failing to attend court.
“He remains in custody.
“Nobody was held against their will during the incident.”
At the time, officers asked people to avoid the area whilst they dealt with the incident.
