A BID to convert a Halesowen bungalow into a care home has been given the go-ahead.
The proposal to turn 3, Linden Avenue into a care home for one young adult with learning difficulties has been approved by planners at Dudley Council.
The home is a two-bed bungalow in a cul-de-sac with a drive which fits two cars on.
Notes by planners state: "The applicant has confirmed that the proposed care home would provide assisted living accommodation for one young adult, typically aged between 20-30, with learning
difficulties and/or Autism.
"The care home would provide one to one care by one carer to provide around the clock care to provide training in independent living skills to the occupant.
"The facility would be managed by one carer at any one time who would work on 12 hour shift patterns from 8am-8pm and 8pm-8am 7 days a week."
The proposal, from Hap Care Home Ltd, was approved on June 6.
