THE time when a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Hurricane aircraft will fly over the Hanbury Countryside Show this weekend has been revealed.

The military aircraft will be flying over the festival at 12:17pm on Saturday, July 2.

The show is marking its 75-year anniversary with a wide variety of activities and entertainment.

There is set to be a performance from Broke FMX, a freestyle motocross stunt team and a fun trail around the showground.

There will also be a wildlife display with giant tortoises, archery, fairground rides, and a magician.

A gardeners question time, hosted by BBC’s Reg Moule, will be happening in the new talk’s theatre.

The show sets out to share the importance of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, conservation and traditional rural crafts and activities to our region while enjoying a great family day out in the countryside.

Donations are made annually to the society’s chosen charities, with this year's choices being Midlands Air Ambulance and the farming charity RABI.

The event has also promised improved access and a traffic management system in place, after extreme traffic issues last year.

The opening hours for the event will be 9am to 6pm.
