Fuel pricing legality
With all the current furore concerning record pump prices and continuing ‘rip off’ of customers; something barely addressed by this wretched excuse for a government, has anyone considered that the pricing structure shown as - e.g. 189.9 pence - is, I believe illegal?
This has been the norm for years. How would the retailer give change if exactly one litre was purchased and was offered 190 pence in payment.
I find the whole practice annoyingly unnecessary. Round up or, preferably down!
