A member of the public informed Worcestershire County Council's Highways department of the void on Fox Lane on Saturday, July 16.
To maintain the flow of traffic two kind-hearted ladies, donned their hi-vis traffic to direct cars around the hole.
Worcestershire Highways and Travel tweeted on Monday, July 18 that Fox Lane is closed for an investigation.

Nearby resident, Jeni Craddock and her son took some images and videos of the sinkhole, which shows a stream of water underneath the road.
She said she is worried that due to the high temperatures more of the road may break away.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: “Following reports of a hole on Fox Lane the road will be closed from July 18 to keep the area safe.
"We will investigate the cause of this void and will arrange repairs accordingly.”
