FIREFIGHTING is finally being concluded after a devastating blaze in the Lickey Hills.
Hereford and Worcester Fire Service has confirmed that firefighting operations are being brought to a conclusion after a further inspection this afternoon.
The inferno which engulfed part of the Lickey Hills on Monday, July 18 has caused devastation to the wildlife and community.
The cause of the fire is still unknown due to the scale of the site, say the fire service.

Firefighters were alerted at 1.15 pm on Monday to the incident which occurred in an area bordered to the south by Rose Hill, to the west by Eachway Lane and to the north and east by the B4120 and Leach Green Lane.
Fifteen people, including four children, were evacuated from three properties off Eachway Lane.
A total of 12 crews have been working tirelessly for more than 48 hours to dampen down the blaze and have been commended by the community.
