While Christmas might seem like it’s a long time away, there’s nothing like being organised and booking activities ahead of time to avoid disappointment.

West Midland Safari Park (WMSP) is running Christmas packages in its safari lodges this festive season and they’re available to book now.

There’s also the option to stay in the lodges to celebrate the New Year and these packages can also be booked now.

The Christmas package is available to book for two nights, December 24 and 25.

WMSP’s website says that the package includes two nights in a lodge with wildlife right outside and an admission ticket for one day at the Safari Park on Christmas Eve when you can see all the Winter Wonderland decorations.

You can also choose to meet Santa in his grotto on December 24, although this is optional.

You’ll tuck into a Christmas Eve dinner inside the lodge and on Christmas Day you can enjoy a six-course Christmas lunch in Spring Grove House. Keep your eyes peeled as Santa will make an appearance.

The package also includes breakfast each morning, a Grazing Hamper to indulge in as you get cosy in the lodge on the night of December 25 and a Christmas tree will be put up in the lodge as well as other decorations.

West Midland Safari Park New Year’s Eve Safari Lodge packages

If you plan on staying in a lodge on New Year’s Eve for one night, you can choose between the New Year’s Eve Family Package or the New Year’s Eve Black Tie Package which is available for over 18s.

The family package includes a one night stay at a safari lodge on December 31 as well as admission tickets to WMSP for two days.

You’ll also get tickets to the Family New Year’s Eve Party in Treetops Pavilion where they’ll be a buffet and entertainment for children.

Also included in the package are breakfast and dinner.

If you choose the Black Tie Package which is for over 18s only, you’ll stay for one night in a lodge on December 31 and you’ll receive admission tickets to WMSP for two days.

You’ll also get tickets to the Black Tie Ball that will take place in Spring Grove House where they’ll be food and live music.

Breakfast is also included on the day that you depart.
