THREE Bromsgrove food establishments have been handed new hygiene ratings.

Belbroughton Club, a pub at 5 High Street, Belbroughton was given a four out of five rating after ab assessment on June 9, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

The Ladybird Inn, a pub at 2 Finstall Road, Bromsgrove was also given a four out of five score after an inspection on June 17.

It means that of Bromsgrove's 59 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 44 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.

However, Burger King at Moto (North), a takeaway at Frankley Motorway Services was given a two-out-of-five-star rating by inspectors on June 15.

At the time of their inspection, food safety officers found Burger King to have good hygienic food handling and management of food safety, but the cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building needed to be improved.
