DAVID Morgan has become the new chair of Bromsgrove based charity The Basement Project.
He replaces previous chair Lindsay Peniston following the charity’s AGM in June.
Busy David hails from a background in business management, sales, marketing and business analytics.
A former Bromsgrove High School pupil, David has been a trustee and director of The Basement Project since 2011.
He is also a board director of the British Healthcare Trade Association and is the current chairman of the Speech Aid Sector.
A member of MENSA, he is also a methodist lay preacher and a published author.
In addition to that, David is also the county organiser for the National Gardens Scheme in Worcestershire and a voluntary ranger on the Birmingham to Worcester canal.
If that wasn’t enough, David has also been a business consultant and an international business director for an American supplier of hi-tech communication aids for people with speech disabilities.
The Base Project helps support young people under the age of 25 who find themselves in crisis, are homeless or at risk of being made homeless.
If anyone is interested in helping out at The Basement Project, either by volunteering or making a donation they should contact 01527 832993 or visit www.basementproject.org
