A MOTORCYCLIST has been seriously injured after a crash on the A38 in Bromsgrove.
The incident happened just after 8 am on August 12 near the junction of Birmingham Road and School Lane.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor attended the collision which involved a car and a motorcyclist.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “When ambulance crews arrived they found a motorcyclist who had been involved in a collision with a car and was being cared for by an off-duty nurse and bystanders.
“Upon assessment by ambulance staff the motorcyclist, a man was found to have sustained serious injuries.
"He was given trauma care on the scene to stabilise his condition before being conveyed by land ambulance on blue lights to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further emergency care.”
Motorists were urged to find alternative routes while emergency services were on the scene.
