A MAN has been arrested after neglecting eight dogs in Romsley.
A member of the public rang police with concerns that dogs were locked in a car in Romsley.
The eight dogs, including three puppies, were seized by police and taken to the RSPCA to be checked over.
The man was arrested for neglect.
Police have warned owners not to leave their pets in vehicles during hot weather as they can quickly become dehydrated and suffer heat stroke.
